I've been rewatching SG-1 and just hit Season 4. During Season 3, especially after "Forever in a Day," I was doing a little lip-biting over some of the Jack and Daniel interactions, especially the "solid foundation" in "Shades of Grey" and Jack's reminder of Daniel's shoes in "Maternal Instinct."

But then I hit "Small Victories."

And Daniel rushing to the 'gate room when the rest of SG-1 gates in.

And then Daniel having to make the call to detonate the sub with Jack and Teal'c still on it.

And Jack and Daniel communicating with just their names.

And then Daniel realizing Jack and Teal'c were okay and becoming wordless in his joy.

...

Where is my fic folder of unfinished ideas???

PS Does anyone have any fic recs set around early season 4? I can't remember anything set around "Small Victories." (Also, sadly many of my bookmarks are dead and I haven't been diligent about finding if the fics have been reposted elsewhere.)

PPS Maybe this will encourage me to actually archive everything on AO3 like I keep saying I will.
