Touch Your Knee

Joss is back in form and posting on Whedonesque. Today's post is, actually, about us! Us being the enormous internet us who are massive movers and shakers and do amazing things when we are mobilized and motivated. Apparently this is inspirational and has prompted Joss and other showrunners to mobilize in a similar way and that is just a completely awesome thing.

It's not rare for me to be proud of being a Whedonite, but today, um, I'm prouder. ;)

Take a moment to be all up in yourself. Now get over yourself. Now doubt yourself. Now hug yourself. Now touch your knee – Hah! Didn’t say “Simon says”. Like, ever. FOOLS!

I just read that. <3

I mean, I just finished my acknowledgments so I won't be here longer, because reading Whedonesque on the clock is reprehensible behavior. >.>

Ok, I almost had a straight face for like, 30 seconds.

It's the internet! You can't tell how straight my face is! I might be making scary Cthulhu faces right now and you'd never know! Mmm...tentacle-y.

And sadly, you cannot see what I am wearing.

It's Roy's mini-skirt isn't it? You know, you're going to have to untie him eventually.

I think I've gone punch drunk. I need some more caffiene.

Bah. I can't untie him until he learns to stop running away!

Welcome to Punch Drunk. Try the chicken.

WHY DO I STILL NOT HAVE A ROY ICON?!

Joss Whedon is pretty much the best Hollyweird has, in my opinion. Both creatively and as a human being, the man just rocks.

Thank you for posting this, it gave me the heads up to watch for something up here in Washington state. If they do something in Seattle, I'll be there, sign in hand.

If there's anything near me, I'd be there.

And Joss does rock. Joss rocks hard.
