Well, I won't have the movie this weekend because I need to rewatch the last two discs and disc 1 is coming to me so I can addict getaway_machine and imthelobster. So I might decide to wait for you (and just read manga and fic and write in the meantime).
I like this plan. Let's go with this plan. Particularly the writing part of this plan. (Also, they need to hurry up and release the rest of the box sets. I want to rewatch everything and I don't want to wait for NetFlix!)
I've started making effort to watch more eps. I watched ep7 today. I reacted very strongly to the end. I both do and don't want to keep watching if I'm going to react so strongly. I'm a bit afraid. But I'll keep going.
There are times I go looking for something that will depress me or upset me or make me sob and sob....because I need to have an emotional buildup wrung from me and I can't rid it myself. It's cleansing and I feel better afterward. My spirits lift.
I don't have a build up, currently. I'm worried I'll get mired in it all, instead.
The episode 7 I watched was subtitled rather than dubbed. I would have felt the same reactions, but I wonder if having to read it amped up my reaction factor.
I am trying to not to start crying again. Just thinking about it. I'm not succeeding very well.
I'm the same way with emotions. TV is my necessary catharsis (besides, I like it when they make me hurt).
The dub for this show is amazing. It adds so much flavor to everything, but even so, I'm sure a sub is just as good because then you put in the strength of the emotion. There's a speech from Roy pretty late in the game that I don't totally agree with, and in a sub, I can "fix" it. ;)
Last night I cried during every episode. And I watched 7 or 8 episodes.
Oh, and I actually watched ep 8, which referred to Nina a lot, before seven. I hadn't realized that I'd only gotten halfway through episode seven in the past, but figured that out when I didn't know what they were so upset about. So I went and watched the last half.
Yes. I still have the movie to see, but I finished the anime series. And I have fallen over dead. I HAVE FALLEN. OVER. DEAD. XD
That show is so damn awesome. I want to sing its awesomeness from the rafters. Ed is so damn selfless for his brother—hell! they both are!—and it just hurts so perfectly.

Oooh yay! And once you're done with the published volumes I know where to get scanlations of the unpublished ones ;) I think we're on to chapter 76 now.

*holds hand out* Scanlations please. I'm going to finish vol 9 today (I know) and I'm ripping through these so fast that I'm sure I'll be ready for the scanlations soon.
I need scanlations starting with chapter 58. Though if you also want to send me stuff earlier than that, I'll use it for icons. :D (But start with new stuff first, please.)
