Quick Lunch?

Note to self: You are incapable of having a "quick lunch" with [livejournal.com profile] katilara. Especially when the two of you open the door to discussing conventions, cosplay, FMA, Saiyuki, anime in general, fanfic, and fandom meta.

Though if you are comparing the length of your lunch to the length of a week, perhaps you can use the word "quick," but even that's pushing it.

In other news, today I was not a hermit. Go me.

We're Hermits United. We get together about every ten years or so and talk about caves...and things.

Less posting, more fic writing!

We didn't talk about caves at all! We suck!

Yes, yes, I had to finish that episode of FMA first, you know. And put clothes in the dryer.

*head desk* I KNEW there was something I forgot to tell you. I found the best stalctite hangings the other day though. ;)

I suppose, if you HAD to. Not that I er...don't have more important things to be doing than debating watching more Kyou Kara Maou, because if I start that, I'll be here for EVER.

HA! I have a show to make you watch. :D

Farscape is probably the closet thing you can get to a live action anime because there are some episodes that are incredibly well-thought out and dark and then others that are 100% crack. We'll have to arrange a viewing; naturally I own the entire series.

I don't know, I think the Bleach and Prince of Tennis musicals get pretty close to being live action anime, but they're ALL crack all the time. :p

And of course. I'd expect nothing less. *g* You just let me know when. <3

Did you meet with The Doctor, Jack and Martha? That would make me even more jealous.

Negative. They're probably stuck in post-revolutionary France overseeing the rise of the proletariat or something. They didn't even respond to my text. :(

That is sad.

Of course on the other hand it makes me less jealous of your lunchdate. So that is a good thing. Well, for me anyway. ;)

If it is the one were Nick dropped me of and you picked me up later, then it might have been me. I was reading a bit of DJD and some short slashy fics I had printed out there after I went through all the stores twice and had my banana walnut muffin. I then threw the read pages into a trash bin. Maybe they somehow got out there and into the walls. And now it is all pornified. :D

I want a stone with my name on it at that mall if that is the case. ;)

I think you infected the mall with porn. Whenever [livejournal.com profile] getaway_machine comes over and we decide to have a slash dinner, we eat at that Panera. OH! And our official slash dinner was at that mall! We went to Cheesecake factory and I encouraged someone to eat the Banana Cheesecake in your name!

OMG. It is the slash mall and you did it! *flails*

Wow. I obviously ooze porn in high enough doses to infect buildings. *wonders if she needs to get that checked*

[livejournal.com profile] scifigirl had the banana cheesecake in my name. She rubbed it in when we talked afterwards. Well, the fact that she had the cheesecake, not the cheesecake itself.

Just keep oozing porn and infect the world. That would be awesome.

Also, you should remember that you left behind traces of DJD, so perhaps it was the combined might of your pornish nature and the power of THING!

Can I rub in cheesecake on you?
ext_33206: (supernatural - dean yum!)
[identity profile] roadrunner1896.livejournal.com wrote:

I will try my best. I guess the combination of me and THING! could turn anything into porn. Though I left traces of DJD at Heathrow airport as well. *wonders if it got pornified as well*

You can alway rub in cheesecake on me. Preferably if you rub it in my mouth.

I want yummy cheesecake.

You know, for three weeks all I do is talk about cheesecake with everyone. Or at least that is how it feels. Just this morning [livejournal.com profile] callumvixen was mentioning some kind of awesome Canadian cheesecake and I was reminded of the banana cheesecake of win. And then this. I think I really need a slice of cheesecake.

I have to be at work soon, anyway. I hope she sees my reply where I tell her what journal to look at where I've "dressed" it with what I made. *bounce bounce* I hope she likes it! *bouncy bounce* I titled the reply, so that'll help it stand out. *bouncebouncewiggle*

I went spelunking and found and I like it. Very cute! Actually, I really like the original background tile you showcased. That was adorable. &hearts
[identity profile] mirankos.livejournal.com wrote:
Nov. 5th, 2007 02:43 pm (UTC)
Yay! Thanks :) Do you think she'll like it all? I mean, is it "her" enough?

I really liked the first tile, too. At full strength it clashes really, really badly with the banner. :( I did fade it to about half. It looked pretty good, but it's still too distracting. *pout*

I'm trying to think of what to make that can use the original bground tile. I'll need to go looking through screencap galleries. :)

[personal profile] theemdash wrote:

To work with that background tile, you'd probably need a banner with a white background, something really minimalist, or something that isn't squared off, like the banner I have at [livejournal.com profile] what_works.

I don't want to guess what she'll think of it. I don't want to be wrong!
[identity profile] mirankos.livejournal.com wrote:
Nov. 5th, 2007 02:51 pm (UTC)
Good idea on the banner. I will work with that!

I hope she likes it. I know it's a nice layout, but I always worry that I've made something more my taste than the taste of who I am making it for. That has been the case before.

E is a little funkier than what I've made, but maybe it fits the feel of the show? I want the background to feel retro, like the show has going for it, too.

Anyway, it's just the first layout. I'm more than willing to make something else. :)

There are people in this world who would claim that we are strange.

Also, I cannot remember what other body parts of mine have been married off. I'm reasonably sure someone married my left pinky, but I don't remember who.
