Deathly Hallows totally proved this "all my favorite characters die" thing though because I couldn't chose a favorite between Remus, Sirius, and Harry and then THEY ALL DIED (though Harry got better).
Also, you totally spoiled me now for when I get around to watching FMA. :P hahhaa, not that I know who your favorite character IS, but. you know. ALL THE SAME.
