I've been watching so much BBCA lately that I think I'm part British. ;)

Was it "Blink" that was on last night? I haven't been keeping up with the episodes on the Sci-Fi Channel because I "flew to England" and watched them all already. ;) I really love that episode.

Are you telling me you didn't like "Shakespeare Code"? I love that episode!

Oh, there are so many people on my flist who watch Bones. Most of us are Whedon fans and have to support our boy Borreanaz.

LOL! My parents raised me on Who, Dave Allen, Benny Hill, & Python; I watched Tomorrow People, Third Eye, & Black Beauty on Nickelodeon when I was a kid; my college friends got me into Are You Being Served, The Young Ones, Keeping Up Appearances, and, much more recently, Father Ted & Eddie Izzard; and my folks got me into Red Dwarf a few years back. So yeah, I get that. ;)

Yeah, it was Blink.

Shakespeare Code was okay, one of the better eps of this season at least, but I still like Blink and Gridlock more by a pretty big margin. And I still only like Martha so-so. (Well, better than Adric or Meg at least!) I did love that bit where Ten said "57 academics just punched the air" after Shakespeare hit on him. And I loved the Harry Potter references. :)

Yeah, I that was pretty much why I started watching Bones too, then fell in love with the whole cast. :)

Eddie Izzard rules all. I have a flag, so it's true.

[livejournal.com profile] lord_varos is a huge old school Who fan. He knows Who in the same obsessive way I know Buffy (believe it or not but I know Buffy better than SG-1).

I've only seen one episode with Adric. I love Ace and Romana. They're so much fun. :D

The Harry Potter references killed me. I spent most of that episode just squealing and rolling on the ground in cross-fandom bliss.

Aye, much as I loved Rose (at least with Nine), when Davies insisted that Rose was the Doctor's *only* equal, I was like WTFBBQ?? Uh, ROMANA??? And yeah, I loved Ace (so few people seem to like Sylvester McCoy's era, but I loved him!). I had a "thing" for Nyssa and Turlough (er, not together, individually), too.

I used to be up on my Buffy, but I seem to have difficulty retaining information I'm not confronted with daily *sigh* (Speaking of which, I really need to redo my Spike site, there's broken links up the yin-yang! *Smacks self*) I didn't even make it over to the Whedon track at all at D*Con -- I just wasn't interested enough to tear myself away from the 'Gate (especially to tread all the way over to the freakin' Hilton for it!)

Did you hear James Marsters is in season two of Torchwood, and that he and Jack have a "sexy scene" together??? (It was mentioned in the Chicago Tribune, a friend back home emailed me the clipping.) OMG, it's just as well I don't have BBC-A, my screen would probably melt and I'd go into cardiac arrest! XD

Oh, hey, weren't you going to point me towards some TMNT stuff? ;)

I never got around to pointing you to TMNT stuff, did I? Okay, most of my recs are for old stuff, but that doesn't make it any less awesome.

KimLeo's Fics are some of the greatest stuff (though not as well written as I had remembered). One of my favorite fics of All Time is Dark Journeys, a mystical romp in North Hampton that spirals into bigger issues for the turtles when a fight goes terribly, terribly wrong. (The sequel is Sojourn).

Kim Leo also has another great fic called Storm which deals with events surrounding the City At War storyline, if I remember correctly.

Phish is another of my favorite authors. The one we all still mention and love is Apocrypha which is wonderfully long and sadly unfinished. But as Phish has warned me, she stopped it before everyone started dying. Still, it's awesome and there's some amazingly hot sex in it, too.

Also of note is Empathy, which is one of The Most Fucked Up Stories Ever. But it's beautifully fucked up. (I love Phish's brain.)

There are others, but there's a fun start.

Also, my fics are Stolen Seasons and Turtle Soup & Frog's Legs. Both were written nearly 10 years ago (eek!). Stolen Seasons is set around Donatello's death, dealing with the aftermath of the remaining brothers having to rebuild. TS&FL is . . . oh, how can I describe it? A search for a serial killer. Yeah. Heh. I was a messed up 16-year-old.
