Con Crud Be Gone!

I'd just like to say this really incredible thing about Dragon*Con.

I didn't get sick.

This is the first time in at least 3 years that I haven't gotten sick either before or after Dracon*Con. But

dragonbetween,

skroberts, and

peacelovefandom are sick. (Is anyone else sick? ETA: apparently

amazonsun and

jedimara77, the rumors of

scifigirl's illness were highly exaggerated.) And I'm not. There were sick people around me, increasing the likelihood of me getting sick and yet I am still perfectly healthy, sitting here not sniffling and not coughing.

HA HA! TAKE THAT CON CRUD!

Apparently getting only 5 hours of sleep most nights worked for me this year.

Or it was the Shanks Hug. I've heard that

dragonbetween didn't hug anyone, so we're wondering if hugging celebrities has something to do with it. That sounds like the subject of a poll, doesn't it?

fille_de_glace has told me that she thinks I got sick this year because I wasn't living off bananas like the last two years!

btw- I found The Marauder's Worst Memory! And actually my cable has it for Free On Demand since it's a local production. Next time you come over, we'll have to watch it. It's not fabulous, but it's still enjoyable.

Yes, Dr. P did think that I was sick, but she's a little antibiotic happy and always seems to prescribe them.

You should eat bananas, they seem to help keep you from getting sick.

And maybe since you are always a little bit sick you don't even notice that you're a little bit sick because a little bit sick is now your standard setting? And maybe now you only notice if you get a lot bit sick and not just a little bit sick? Did you ever think of that?

I didn't get a cold. But I had a rash on my neck that started on Tuesday O_o Which I thought was really weird and probably just coincidental as I haven't seen anyone else mention anything about having one.

Yeah, Creation cons suck, so I only got a half-hug when I did my photo op with him. But Paul gave me two full-body hugs the first night, and without prompting, so that was lovely.
