Damn you, Michael Shanks. Damn you.

I decided to DVR 24 tonight so I'd have some idea what's going on when I start watching it next week.

Everything about this show—everything—I'm loving it.

DAMN YOU, MICHAEL SHANKS! I NOW HAVE 136 EPISODES TO WATCH!

Also, I'm blaming [livejournal.com profile] scifigirl. Because I have blame to spare and I doubt Shanks will really care that he "made" me watch 136 episodes. :P

It's crack! No pity for you at all.

Jack Bauer is made of awesome. *g*

Seasons 1, 4, and 5 are the best IMHO.

I couldn't agree more. Kiefer Sutherland rocks. The way Jack Bauer shouts at people is made of awesome.

Just because I have no sympathy for you and I'm feeling a little sadistic tonight, have you seen who's staring in the new series, Drive? (The answer is just on the other side of the link.) Now whether you care or not is another matter.

I here that new episodes of Stargate start this Friday. Is there anything special planned for it?

Oh dude, like she didn't know that already! Sheesh, I'm fairly certain she brought up that fact, in front of you, the last time I was up there (forever ago).

Figures. And if she did, I probably forgot it out since it's a show I have no interest in watching. It looks like it takes itself far too seriously for Cannonball Run the TV series.

I know about Drive and will be watching it. I care about Fillion! :D

There are new episodes of Stargate, but no plans for anything special. All the special is coming at the end of the season. Nick's not even planning to be home for Stargate. Neptune is until 10pm on Friday and Nick's planning to be there until then.

You can watch it for me then.

For some reason I keep forgetting that the Neptune is this weekend.

Hehe. I could have sworn you'd love 24. There are some ridiculous plot twists every now and then, but Kiefer Sutherland rocks, especially when he shouts at someone. :D

Seasons 1 and 5 are my favorites, but every season has its moments. Jack Bauer is a fantastic character.

Also, you might be interested to know that JR Bourne (Martouf) played a creepy guy in a recent ep. He's one of the nicest actors I've ever met.

To be honest, it's hard to find scripted tv that I don't love. ;) I have so many buttons that it's easy to push one of them.

Same here. I'm very open-minded when it comes to TV. Even if there's a genre I don't care all that much about (like the mafia, for example), I'll find a show I fall in love with (The Sopranos). Give me good scripts and good acting, and I'll be there. Hey, I'll even like mediocre shows if they manage to hook me emotionally. ;)

Enjoy 24. Season 1 is like a rollercoaster ride.

Greeeeaaaat. Just what I need in my life—more crack. *whimpers*

On the plus side, I have a friend at work who has already offered to loan me Seasons 1-5.

Really? That good? I haven't ever watched that show. (That sentence sucked, but I don't care enough to fix it.) I saw that Shanks was going to be on 24, but I can't imagine getting into another show - especially 6 whole seasons late. :) *goes back to Stargate marathon*

I'm not trying to catch up before he's on because that would be insane. But yes, it was very intense and awesome. Very Alias.
