In watching "Past and Present" I have to say that I had forgotten what a total dick Daniel is in this episode! Pushing aside all of the Sha're issues, Daniel lectures SG-1, Hammond, and Fraiser on the whole Linea/Kera thing while pacing around the briefing room table. And let's not forget that fact that he's snapping at Jack, generally acting like a prick, and then starts picking on Teal'c to make his point.

Damn.

Also, maybe someone else can help me with this, but it seems that Daniel is only at his prickiest while on his feet. I'm thinking that when he sits, he's more rational. Perhaps he has bunions. (I'm joking about the bunions, but can anyone else weigh in on Standing Ranting Daniel vs. Sitting Ranting Daniel?)

I totally have to write an essay on Mean!Daniel one day. . . .
