Love and Firefly (Mostly)

Oooh, Lookie-loo, Back To An SG-1 Layout
Since I’m already starting to mourn SG-1’s demise, I switched back to an SG-1 layout. I think we worked out all the bugs from this one, but if someone notices something weird, drop me a line. [livejournal.com profile] theemdash

Also, *waves to [livejournal.com profile] jissa* ;)

All You Need Is Love
I want to thank everyone for the nice and lovely comments they left at the Love Meme. Those comments on page 5 have really warmed my day. :D *huggles her sweet, sweet flist*

Also, I’d just like to give a welcome to the various new people who I have friended recently. I’m going to attempt to remember everyone from over the past month or so:

Now, my arm is tired.

My Feelings Are So Mixed They Could Be A Smoothie
Apparently July is going to bring us a Special Edition of Serenity. And we’ve got the word from Joss the Boss, so I’d say it’s pretty solid. Exciting? Yes! Aggravating? Hell yes!

On one hand, I’m thrilled with the idea of getting all the Region 4 special features (which were a hell of a lot more than what we got) and the idea of the Tam Sessions and cast commentary sends my spine a tingling.

On the other hand: Why the frak didn’t they release this in the first place?! It’s not like they didn’t know that Firefly has rabid fans that would shell out $10 more for a special edition when the DVD was first released. (I know, I know, marketing, profit, bleh.)

I’m really tired of new movies getting special edition releases several months to a year after the initial release. I understand remastered and xx-number-of-years anniversary editions, but new frelling movies? Is that really necessary?

Oh well: yay for possible cast commentary! The commentary by Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk on “War Stories” is one of my favorites from the Firefly DVDs. In fact, when I watch that episode, I usually watch it with the commentary. Plus I love that cast so much. *crosses fingers*

Rant over. I still love you, Joss. (Because you own my soul, you fraking genius.)

Eek, that's a bit worrying. I have the image hosted at Photobucket, so I don't know if it would be a problem over there or not. :/ If anyone else says anything, I might move the image to my own server. :)
