I was waiting for you to mention Amy. She was awesome and the 'mystery' character for us to chew on. I agree I think she was a former 'doll', Topher's character seemed to look right at her when he said that. Anyhow, it was great to see Amy being her awesome self and lurking around in the shadows. I love that Joss won't let his actors go.

All in all, I found it a pretty good first episode. Like you, it didn't seem very Joss...but I'm going to say "YET" like you. It was done over by the network and we all know what Fox is like. I mean, who runs "The Train Job" before you run the 2 hour explanation "Serenity" which was far more 'hooky'. What-ever.

I'm still in Joss' game, wherever he wants to take me.
