I agree. But then, not *all* my pairings are slash. I like McCarter, too, and Carter/Teal'c, but I really love Sam/Janet and I won't write Jack and Daniel without putting them together at some point or another, so I just say screw it. Then again, I have this thing where I forget not everyone's sexuality is as fluid as mine is, so I forget that it doesn't make sense to a lot of people.
