Joss News from CC

Dollhouse News from Comic Con that is MAKING ME JUMP IN MY SEAT. Casting Spoiler for Dollhouse Season 2 involving Whedonverse ALUM

There's also other Whedonverse news there such as mention of the Shepherd Book comic, Dr. Horrible comics, and that DH is releasing a Cabin in the Woods comic to go with Joss's film.

BUT THE CASTING SPOILER. OMG. HAPPINESS.

Honestly, this is the first year that I haven't been jealous about Comic Con attendence and have just been happy, truly happy with the news and soundbites and videos that have been released. \o/ I love being a nerd!

I watched all the aired episodes and am still not sure if I'm going to watch season 2 (and the IN TALKS casting spoiler just depresses me because it reminds me THAT OTHER SHOW I LIKED BETTER is dead)!

I have two pieces of advice: It gets much better after the first...IIRC, four or so episodes, but some of the early stuff is essential to make sense of the later stuff. So if you do watch it you should be a little patient.

Second piece of advice is if rape/noncon is a real problem/squick/trigger for you the show may be hard to take, offensive, or just impossible to watch. One of the central conceits of the show is that the 'dolls' have no active control over the 'assignments' they're given, which basically means they're unknowingly pimped out. (We are not shown the terms of the contract they signed, but at least some of them were actively coerced to sign anyway, so consent...not so much.)
