theemdash: SG-1 classic team (SG-1 Team)
Here's a few more newly archived fics. As before ALL fics have been polished (though one less than I wanted to because I realized I have other things I should be doing than rewriting fic that is 12 years old).
★'d fics are personal favorites.

Stargate: SG-1
Choiceless, NC-17, Jack/Daniel, voyeurism, exhibitionism, masturbation, rainstorm, Season 5 (1,830 words)
I remembered this as a hot fic, but daaaaaaaaaamn

Slow Burn, NC-17, Jack/Daniel, angry sex, angst, guilt, hand jobs and blow jobs, outdoor sex, episode tag "Scorched Earth" (5,900 words)
baby's first slash: yes, the first Jack/Daniel story I ever wrote (there are some awkward things in this, boy howdy)

This Isn't Personal, R, Jack/Vala, past-Jack/Daniel, past-Daniel/Vala, hurt/comfort, breakup, Daniel is a jerk in absentia (430 words)
seriously, why is Daniel always so selfish about getting to Atlantis?

The Cut of a Man, PG, Jack, gen, a little humor, a little serious, 5 things, CO reports about Jack (140 words)
it's so short, but I really enjoy this one

Stargate: Atlantis
Molasses, PG, Mckay/Teyla, humor, fluff, Carson should have drugged him more (950 words)
this is not as horribly awkward as I remember

Saiyuki
Jealous, PG-13, Gojyo/Sanzo, implied Gojyo/Hakkai, jealousy, possessiveness, Gojyo being a shit (125 words)
omg Gojyo is such a shit

A Scarf on a Cold Day, PG, Hakkai/Sanzo, subtext, camping, snow (320 words)
this is probably me at my most subtle

Harry Potter: Remus/Sirius Drabble Collection
Novel Abuse, PG, Remus/Sirius, humor, never loan your books to Sirius (200 words)
poor Remus

Eat Your Words, PG-13, Remus/Sirius, angsty fluff, impending sexual content (200 words)
somewhere under this is a fic about forgiveness

Here's a few more newly archived fics. As before ALL fics have been polished.
★'d fics are personal favorites.

Stargate: SG-1
Confused Colonels, Disgruntled Archaeologists, and Other Problems of Temporal Distortions, NC-17, Jack/Daniel, Season 4, "Window of Opportunity," established relationship, clueless!Jack, annoyed!Daniel, sex against the Stargate (4,100 words)
this combines my obsession with memory with Jack and Daniel's obsession with the stargate

Four Something in the Morning, PG-13, Jack & Daniel, Season 8, friendship (technically), early morning, Daniel's birthday, the trouble with resurrection (1,670 words)
this was about the time I got really into writing Jack

The Long Way Home, PG-13, Daniel/Sha're, Jack/Daniel, angst, grief, Daniel solo 'gating, pre-series, season 3, post-"Forever in a Day" (3,860 words)
this is another one in my top five favorite fics I've ever written

Harry Potter
Why Remus No Longer Makes Buns in His Oven, PG-13, Remus/Sirius, James, Peter, humor, crack!fic, technically not mpreg (2,260 words)
this is another one in my top five favorite fics I've ever written—possibly my favorite; I mean I'm having a hard time not posting blinking arrows around this link

Gravid, R, Remus/Sirius, angst, breakup, gut-punch (2,110 words)
bring on the emotional pain!

Fullmetal Alchemist
Porcelain Men, NC-17, Roy/Ed, angst, sex, (almost) no talking, (1,360 words)
this is the ship that still makes me wish Ed were older (but I swear I meant for him to be 18 in this fic)

Rule Number 23, PG, Roy, Maes, friendship, humor, Roy is the punchline (100 words)
I wish I'd written more in this fandom (mostly Maes because the is the best)

Saiyuki
Nightmares, PG-13, Hakkai/Sanzo, angst, nightmares, rainy night (400 words)
for my "main pairing" being a different pairing, this is almost the only pairing I wrote!

theemdash: (SG-1 Vala)
Here's a few more newly archived fics. As before ALL fics have been polished (some a little more than others).
★'d fics are personal favorites.

I've got another collection in this batch—this time Daniel/Vala drabbles and short fiction. (I'm working up to the Jack/Daniel humor one because OMG most of my drabbles/flash fiction are funny Jack/Daniel stories.)

Stargate: SG-1
Defense Training, NC-17, Jack/Daniel, Season 1, post-"The First Commandment," gun kink, alcohol, first time (3,400 words)
if you need a rec on this, ask [personal profile] green_grrl ;)

Foxtrot on P8X-682, PG-13, Jack/Daniel, Season 4, aliens made them dance, established relationship, team (1,440 words)
this is one of my top 5 favorite fics I've ever written

Stargate: SG-1: Daniel/Vala
Reassurance, PG, Daniel/Vala, denial, watching Vala sleep, season 10, post-"Flesh and Blood" (100 words)
Daniel in denial is my thing in this ship apparently

Logical, PG, Daniel/Vala, denial, watching Vala sleep, season 9 (200 words)
seriously, writers just recycle ideas that get stuck in their heads

Who Needs Directions?, PG-13, Daniel/Vala, humor, season 10-ish (170 words)
smutty minds required for this to be funny

The Proper Use of an Office Chair, NC-17, Daniel/Vala, smut, chair!sex, season 9, (1,070 words)
I still think about writing a whole office!sex series…

Angel
No Words, R, Wesley/Angel, angst, sex, no talking, season 3, post-"Heartthrob" (550 words)
wow, so much angsty sex written in 2005

Saiyuki/Harry Potter
Five Ways the Saiyuki Boys Will Never End Up at Hogwarts, PG, gen, crack!fic, humor (970 words)
ahahaha, this still cracks me up

theemdash: (SG-1 Sam/Cam)
Here's a few more newly archived fics. As before ALL fics have been given a polish.
★'d fics are personal favorites.

Because I posted all my Sam drabbles in a batch, this is more or less a Sam Carter Special Edition. (If anyone checks out the Carter Collection, can you let me know if that organization for a drabble collection works for AO3? I took advice, poked around, and made an attempt.)

Stargate: SG-1
Bad Timing, NC-17, Jack/Daniel, episode related ("Forever in a Day," "Meridian"), seasons 3-9, UST, sex, eventual-get-together fic (4,300 words)
y'know how fic writers write what they want to read? that's this fic for me

Sam Fics
Dragging Her Down, PG, Sam/Pete, Sam/Jack (yes, you read that right), Season 7, "Lost City" tag, angst, grief (600 words)
this is apparently the first SG-1 fic I wrote—well, that didn't set the tone, did it?

The Way We Are, PG, unrequited Sam/Martouf, season 4, Tok'ra, deception, unrequited love (1,700 words)
this is more interesting than I remember it being—and Martouf POV!

Chain of Command, PG-13, Sam, Jack, Team, mission, season 4, missing!Jack, soldier!Carter (1,400 words)
it's possible my love of writing mission fic started here

I Should Have, PG, Sam, Cam, prison, humor (100 words)
short and silly

Saiyuki
Perfect Timing, PG-13, Hakkai/Sanzo, hurt/comfort, subtle emotions, kissing in the rain (500 words)
"kissing in the rain," because I don't have a recurring theme

Harry Potter
Uncertain Blindness, NC-17, Remus/Sirius, sex against furniture, desperation, kissing (800 words)
again, "sex against furniture", I don't have a recurring theme

One-Time Deal, NC-17, Remus/Sirius/Regulus, sex, threesome, incest (1,150 words)
I honestly hadn't realized I wrote this. much. sex.

theemdash: (SG-1 Jack/Daniel Touchies)
Here's a few more newly archived fics. As before ALL fics have been polished. (This batch didn't make me cringe, so I haven't completely re-written huge swaths of them.)
★'d fics are personal favorites.

Stargate: SG-1
This Empty Apartment, NC-17, Daniel/Vala, Season 9, "Beachhead" tag, angst, grief, sex (4,900 words)
this is angstier and sexier than I remembered

There’s No Such Thing as a Brontosaurus, PG-13, Jack/Daniel, season 7, adventure, cluelessness, Smart!Jack, Grumpy!Daniel, humor (9,400 words)
I mostly remember the dinosaurs, but there’s A+ character work here—written for J/D Ficathon 2009

There’s No Place Like Home, PG-13, Jack/Daniel, Sam, Teal’c, 5 Things, AU, humor, meta, crack (430 words)
these are brief, but pretty funny, and one inspired a fusion!

SG-1/Firefly Fusion
Just a Whore, NC-17, Jack/Daniel, smut, bittersweet ending (730 words)
I still really like this fusion universe

Good Tea, NC-17, Jack/Daniel, smut, frottage, tea (720 words)
whenever I think of this series, I think of this fic

Saiyuki
Something Like Sharing, NC-17, Hakkai/Sanzo, sharing a bed, seduction, frottage (2,800 words)
I’m mildly impressed by how much character history I shoved into a sex scene

This Is What I Watch

I've seen this on a few journals (most notably with [livejournal.com profile] princessofg and [livejournal.com profile] tenaya) and I have to post it because it's exactly how I feel about fandom and why I try not to put down my friends' favorite shows (also why I will give shows repeated chances).

Your Friends Are Not Watching the Same Show You Are (And That's Okay)

[livejournal.com profile] teyana did something interesting with this and named the shows she's watching and I saw that and thought, "Yes, I have to do that." So, I'm doing that.

Saiyuki Friending Meme

theemdash: (Saiyuki Gojyo)
I think most of my Saiyuki friends have already popped over, but [livejournal.com profile] moshesque is currently hosting a Saiyuki Friending Meme. I know I don't need more friends (really, really don't), but I'm certainly enjoying comments and the excuse to friend a few people whom I've been meaning to friend (plus you know how I get excited when I'm recognized for fic).

Anyway, head over and say hello.

Snatching Up Saiyuki

For all my anime-friendly flisters who are not on [livejournal.com profile] saiyuki, I bring you this PSA from [livejournal.com profile] researchotaku:

Geneon announced recently that it's going out of business and that all of its titles will stop production.

This is a column discussing Geneon's going out of a business, including the advice as to what fans should do: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/answerman/2007-09-28

What Geneon's closing down means for Saiyuki fans is if you haven't bought the Saiyuki Reload and Saiyuki Reload Gunlock DVDs yet (and you want to buy them), you better do it soon because once they're gone, they're gone.

Feel free to spread the word to other Saiyuki fans or fans of Geneon-licensed shows.

I've just put in an order at rightstuf.com to finish off my Saiyuki Reload collection, and um, my Saiyuki collection because the Double Barrel discs were only $8.99! And I may have bought Vol. 1 of Peacemaker because $6.99, yay! So, um, I don't think I'll be buying that Ministry of Magic CD this month. . . . Heh heh.

Anyway, if anyone were to be wondering about something to buy me for that holiday that happens in December, I only have 1 disc of Saiyuki Reload Gunlock (Vol. 3, if you're wondering), and I'd love to get the rest before they all go bye-bye. (If you are thinking of picking up a disc for me, please let me know.)

Some Goodies

Ooh, I love the internet.

First, we've got an exciting Saiyuki opportunity. emeraldeyes.net scanned and translated Neogandhara, one of Minekura's Saiyuki doujinshis. It's early work with some different character designs (Gojyo especially) and a very different Sanzo (he's creepy, really). A very interesting read for Saiyuki fans. You can download it here.

Second, we've got comic book hilarity in the Top 15 Unintentionally Funny Comic Book Panels. Take a trip through time and learn how when slang changes comic books get sexual! My favorite is the terrible stereotype in #7 because it's so bad, bad, bad it's hysterical. (And I totally can't believe that #3 is from an actual comic book. Just no way.)

Third, we've got Superdickery.com which is basically all about making fun of Superman comic covers. It's mostly a series of galleries that are perfect for killing time, but allow me to link to some of my favorites:
Lois Lane is a Floozy.
This has got to be The Best Comic Cover Ever.
Did you know that Wonder Woman teaches us about safe bondage practice?
Superman is The Best Adoptive Father Ever.
Even Superman Knows His Secret Identity Only Fools Idiots.
. . . I Have No Words.

Now I feel that I have done my civic duty to entertain you all. *flounces off*
